Paul Gooderick discusses litigation practices and explores best practice approaches to improving workflow and reducing costs.

Both large and small firms are facing the same price and time pressures from their clients. Electronic evidence is increasing in volume and technical complexity. This demands deep knowledge to manage large scale electronic litigation. State of the art products and best practice procedures are quickly developing to improve workflows and processes. Paul will explore some of these products and procedures and the changing litigation landscape that is driving their adoption. He will also show how outsourcing can reduce cost and increase value to both the Law firm and its clients.

To extend the services of Law In Order to include eDiscovery and electronic processing, Paul established Law In Order Electronic in 2004. He has grown this business and now provides services to all Australia’s leading legal firms along with government departments, corporate and consulting firms. Law In Order is now the largest litigation services bureau in Australia. Paul has introduced a number of new technologies in Australia including Equivio and Relativity, ensuring the local market has access to the ”best practice” tools on the international market. Paul has provided technology solutions to legal firms for 15 years and has a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and a Master of Business in Marketing.
