Lisa Lennon of Gilbert + Tobin reviews auDA's recommendations on the .au domain space

This seminar will review the recent draft recommendations of au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA), the Australian policy authority and industry self-regulatory body for the .au domain space. The recommendations will affect all domain names and those who plan to own them in the future. Among its recommendations, auDA has proposed: changing the current two year licence period, the release of single character domain names, relaxation of the rules for id.au, a change to the reserved list in relation to geographic names, and incorporation of the domain monetisation policy into general policy.
