    John Pavolotsky

    John is Associate Director of Privacy and Data Security Legal at Intel Corporation, California.

    Since joining Intel in 2013 John has worked on privacy and data security matters, in the IP and Technology Group at Greenberg Taurig LLP and at SugarCRM Inc., as its first in-house attorney.

    At Intel, John has also provided business unit attorney support to a number of groups, focusing on technology and commercial transactions and general business counselling. He has also supported M&A matters. John has 17+ years of experience in technology licensing and other transactional matters and 10+ years in privacy and data security matters.

    John is passionate about education, serving on the San Mateo Foster City Education Foundation Board, King Hall (UC Davis School of Law) Alumni Board, and IP Section of the California Lawyers Association, as Chair of its Licensing Interest Group.

    In addition, John co-authors the Licensing Corner column in New Matter, the IP Section's quarterly journal and speak regularly on technology law topics.
